Los Angeles suffers from a rapidly escalating fire that has destroyed multiple homes, forced more than 30,000 residents to evacuate! Emergency responders contend with the fire being worsened by the Santa Ana winds, one of the strongest in a decade.

Santa Ana winds are part of Southern California’s wildfire season. Gusts can reach up to 100 mph! Heightening the the Palisades fire into an uncontrollable inferno. Embers are being carried long distances because of the winds, making the firefighter’s job a whole lot more difficult. Aircrafts have been grounded, people are fleeing their homes, abandoning their cars to escape on foot, with other staying behind with their hoses and water buckets in order to protect their expensive properties.
