Trump Proposal to “Own” Gaza

On February 4th, Trump left the world flabbergasted with his proposal to “own” Gaza and transfer their Palestinian population out. While the proposal seemed outlandish and wild, Chuck Freilich, a former Israeli deputy national security advisor, claims that it may be beneficial in the long term to help sides consider their positions and open opportunities to new directions. Trump wanted to call the territory the “Riviera of the Middle East,” and it would be open to anyone who wanted to live there. He implied that Israel would be able to annex parts of West Bank, intending to reveal his position within a month. However, neither Palestinian or Israeli populations think this plan is feasible in the slightest, as confirmed by polls from the population.
