As a result of Elon Musk’s alliance with Trump, who has repeatedly threatened to conquer Canada and turn it into the 51st state, a parliamentary petition was launched to revoke Musk’s Canadian citizenship. The petition was signed by over 200,000 Canadians.

The petition was filed on February 20 and launched in Canada’s House Of Commons by British Columbia author Qualia Reed and was sponsored by Charlie Angus, a New Democrat parliamentary member. It states that Musk’s connection with Trump makes him “a member of a foreign government that is attempting to erase Canadian sovereignty” (The Guardian).
